Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, when she plans to announce the launch of the consultation on the Domestic Violence and Abuse Bill.

We are committed to seeking the views of experts and practitioners on proposals for the draft domestic abuse Bill and supporting non-legislative measures. We are working with partners across Government on our domestic abuse consultation to ensure it is as robust and thorough as possible, before launching it shortly. The consultation will be accompanied by a number of road show events taking place around England and Wales.
