The Home Office is satisfied that the UK is compliant with the articles of the Lanzarote Convention, and has received confirmation from devolved administrations that they support ratification of the Convention. The Home Office will shortly write to the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories (CDOTs) to extend an invitation to ratify alongside the rest of the UK.
Whilst it is not possible to provide a specific timescale, the Home Office aims to achieve ratification in the first half of 2018.
