Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent assessment he has made of the progress of the Government of Iran on ratifying an Additional Protocol to that country’s safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

​Under the timeframes detailed in Annex V of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Iran is not expected to have begun the constitutional process of ratifying the Additional Protocol as yet.
