Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make an assessment of the veracity of claims by the President of the United States on 13 October 2017 that Iran has committed multiple violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action; and what information his Department holds on the nature of such alleged violations.

The UK is committed to the Iran nuclear deal. It is the only diplomatic way to avoid a nuclear armed Iran. The deal is working; Iran is meeting its nuclear commitments, as confirmed by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s latest report (13 November).
