Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how much his Department spent on advertising to encourage people to donate blood in (a) 2010-11 and (b) 2011-12.
The table below sets out the number of units of blood collected by NHS Blood and Transplant in each of the last 12 months.
