Disability Confident is voluntary for employers. The scheme makes clear what is expected from employers for them to achieve each of the three levels (Committed, Employer and Leader).

If an individual feels that an employer is not meeting the published actions and activities for a particular level they are encouraged to take the matter up directly with the employer concerned.

If that does not resolve the matter, the individual can raise it with the Disability Confident policy team - DWP.DISABILITYCONFIDENT@DWP.GSI.GOV.UK
