Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, on how many occasions Care Commissioning Groups have paid a (a) financial settlement or (b) court award to an independent sector provider as a result of procurement and commissioning decisions, and if he will publish the Care Commissioning Groups and companies in each case.

NHS England has advised that under the terms of settlements agreed that parties are entitled to disclose only that an agreed resolution on the litigation has been reached and that these figures are confidential between the settling parties.
