The Department has engaged extensively with business organisations via roundtables, written correspondence, bilaterals and Ministerial meetings and has incorporated a wide range of business viewpoints in developing a trade remedies framework.

To date, the Department for International Trade has received representations from 19 organisations in, or on behalf of, energy intensive industries regarding the implementation of trade remedy measures, and any changes to those measures after the UK leaves the EU.

Representations were received in response to the White Paper “Preparing for a future UK trade policy”, and as part of the Department’s ongoing stakeholder engagement on a future UK trade remedies regime.
