Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, how many people in the UK have been fined for failing to complete a Household Enquiry Form for voter registration in each of the last 5 years.

Figures for the total number of people that have had to pay the statutory £1000 fine for failing to complete and return a Household Enquiry Form (HEF) are not held by the Government. Decisions on the use of sanctions for HEFs are for Electoral Registration Officers.
