Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what assessment she has made of the effect of the Apprenticeship Levy on the veterinary sector.

The Apprenticeship Levy is designed to encourage sustained employer investment in high quality apprenticeships across a wide rage of sectors. This includes the veterinary sector which has benefited from such investment and has helped develop the apprenticeship standard for a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
