The provision of primary medical services is the responsibility of NHS England. Where a contract for services by a general practitioner practice is ended, NHS England will look at the provision of services in that area and decide whether to enter into a contract with another provider or to allocate patients to other practices in the area.

NHS England Cheshire and Mersey are unable to release any information while the procurement process is underway.
