Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when he plans to respond to the report of the Law Commission, Consumer Prepayments on Retailer Insolvency, HC 543, published on 13 July 2016.

The Government welcomes the work and recommendations of the Law Commission which it has carried out in regards to consumer prepayments on retailer insolvency.
The Government has been in discussions with the Law Commission on this important issue and is considering its response.
