To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Oral Answer of 7 November 2017, Official Report, on the Royal Bank of Scotland: small business customers, to which practices of the Global Restructuring Group that Answer refers to.

In my answer to the hon. Member on 7 November, I was referring in general terms to the practices described in the interim summary of the Skilled Person’s Report published by the Financial Conduct Authority on 23 October 2017. The opening words of this document are “The independent review found that there had been widespread inappropriate treatment of SME customers by RBS” and it goes on to describe a range of practices that led the Skilled Person to this conclusion.
