No assessment has been made of the effect that private sector usage of National Health Service premises and facilities has had on NHS waiting times in the last three years. However, we would expect that any private work carried out in an NHS facility is undertaken outside of normal clinic and working hours so that the day-to-day business of the NHS is not affected.
