Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether NHS England plans to establish reference prices for medical devices beyond those named in the Commissioning Intentions for 2015-16.

The commissioning intentions state NHS England will look at excluded devices and some drugs. The process began with implantable cardiac devices, bone anchored hearing devices and transcatheter aortic valve implantation, and proceeded to cover all excluded devices.
