Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what rights next of kin have to access data that belonged to deceased relatives.

The process on granting a next of kin access to any data on the deceased, held by public authorities is outlined in the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004.
