Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what steps he plans to take to ensure continued effective delivery of local justice after the resignation of large numbers of long-serving magistrates.

There is no evidence that magistrates are resigning in greater numbers this year than in previous years.
