Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent assessment he has made of the potential merits of double tracking the single track sections of the Cotswold Line.

The Department is working with Network Rail and First Great Western to appraise the case to increase the Oxford – Worcester train services to half-hourly and to reduce journey times.
