This policy proposes a holistic approach: tax exemption on military pensions, so veterans receive the dignity & care they deserve.

Veterans have dedicated the best years of their lives to serving and protecting the nation, with many making the ultimate sacrifice. It is the Government’s moral obligation to ensure that those who have served are afforded dignity, security, and a better quality of life in their later years. This policy proposes that all military pensions be exempt from taxation, recognising the unique contribution and sacrifices made by veteran. We believe this would also help with retention and recruitment.
