Scrap the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Scotland Office

This is to ask the UK Government to scrap the Secretary of State for Scotland position as the people of Scotland have a democratically elected First Minister and Government in Scotland and we therefore urge the government to scrap the position and the SO as we feel both are redundant.

Since 1999 following the establishment of the Scottish Government, we think the need to have a Secretary of State for Scotland is essentially non existent and that the position is now essentially used to attack the devolved government which was never the idea. We feel the SOS has used his position to bypass Holyrood and to criticise devolved public services. Why have Holyrood if we have this?
