As a carer I am only able to work on a part time basis, due to my caring commitments. However, I find myself, as many others can, worse off. I receive less than £100 a week in carers allowance and then Universal Credit take it all back off me in a monthly sum. When you take into consideration the amount carers save the government by providing care, I believe this is very unfair.
