Legally recognise non-binary as a gender

Non-binary isn’t a legally recognised gender in the UK. We urge the Government to legally recognise non-binary as a gender and people who identify as non-binary in the UK. This proposal would include an X marker on UK passports for non-binary people.

In the UK alone, there are many people who identify as non-binary across the spectrum. Me included. However, it is not legally recognised. I want that to change. It also means that many of us cannot have an X marker on our documents and may have to use male or female at birth, which we do not identify with.
