Halt the Pylon Network Expansion & support underground & undersea cabling

We, the undersigned, urgently call on the UK Government to immediately halt and reassess the proposed expansion of the national grid network, which we believe could threaten irreversible harm to our natural environment, wildlife (including protected birds and bats), and rural communities.

We urge the Government to support underground & undersea cabling and alternatives which we think are less invasive. We believe this option is widely supported by the public. Some households do rely on natural wells which could be affected by the construction of pylons.

We call on the Government to:
-Suspend the pylon expansion plans.
-Conduct a more extensive environmental & public health impact review.
-Mandate the use of underground/undersea alternatives where feasible.
