We want the Government to introduce a policy that requires schools to ban smartphones during school hours, including break time. We think this could help ensure a focused and productive learning environment.

We feel that while smartphones offer benefits like communication and access to educational tools, they also pose challenges in schools.
We believe that many students use phones for non-educational purposes, which can disrupt learning, and contribute to issues like cyberbullying and social pressure, impacting mental health.
Families may not always be aware of what is being shared by children. Once posted, content may not be fully erased, leaving digital footprints that can affect their reputation and opportunities into adulthood.
