We think a review is essential to restore confidence in the regulatory body and protect both social workers and the public.

We think that at this time fitness to practice processes are taking far longer than is reasonable, causing significant distress to those awaiting an outcome.

For the last two years, we think professional development submissions lacked oversight, reducing them to an administrative task rather than ensuring meaningful professional growth.

We feel there is no meaningful wellbeing support for social workers available.
