Ban the wearing of face-coverings during marches and protests

We think citizens are increasingly concerned about safety, identity, and transparency and we think they are alarmed by the potential risks or intentions posed by participants wearing face-coverings during protest marches. We want the government to ban face-coverings during marches and protests.

We think being unaware of who is participating in a protest dampens trust and poses a potential threat to public safety where unidentified individuals can cause harm and disruption on protest marches.

We think the importance of visual identification during protests is pivotal for law enforcement and participant accountability and we think it should not be for hidden self-interests.

We think that if people are serious and sincere for the cause they are protesting about, they should be 100% open about it and let their faces be seen.
