Extend the theory test expiry date from the current 2 years to 3 years

I would like the Government to extend the theory test expiry date from the current 2 year period to 3 years. I believe extending this would be fair and just. Extending it could help the DVLA deal with the Covid backlog and third parties booking lots of slots and selling them on at higher prices.

I feel we should get our money’s worth. How can we be told to pay money for a theory test so we can then get lessons and book a driving test, if we are then told via the DVLA that there isn't any driving test dates available within the time period we need.
