Negotiate a youth mobility scheme with the EU

We would like the Government to negotiate a youth mobility scheme with the EU. We believe this would expand opportunities for school children and young people to take trips, study, teach and volunteer abroad. We think this should include passport and visa free school trips.

A youth mobility scheme could improve travel links for children and young people and reduce barriers to travelling, living and working in Europe for young Brits.

Young people already benefit from youth mobility schemes with other countries. Negotiating a scheme with the EU could be an important step in delivering real change for young people.

We also think that this policy would go a long way in rebuilding our relationship with our European neighbours.
