Fund care homes for people with Alzheimer's or dementia irrespective of finances

People are subject to financial assessment to determine if funding for care homes is available. I request the Government to provide care provision for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia regardless of financial status.

The Government needs to recognise people pay taxes and through no fault of their own, when diagnosed with this disease, are subject to gruelling financial costs for care because they cannot live/ function by themselves. Alzheimer's and dementia are much recognised, with more people are diagnosed every year, yet the cost of care can be forced upon private funders due to their financial situation. We think this is wrong and should not be allowed, and that the Government need to rectify this.
