My own experience as a cancer patient is that unnecessary delay caused me and my family additional stress trying to battle the disease, and I believe the system needs significantly improving. People are suffering and need help, cancer affects people physically and mentally. Don’t cause people unnecessary worry and stress with delays to financial assistance.
