Lifetime ban and increased sentences for driving offences while disqualified

We want the Government to require a lifetime driving ban and higher minimum sentences for people who commit driving offences that lead to serious injury or death while they are disqualified from driving.

Far too many people who have been disqualified for driving go on to reoffend while they are disqualified. We believe the current law doesn't deal with offenders like this seriously enough, especially where they cause serious injury or death.
