Change the law on 1999 ruling of monovision for HGV drivers

Allow people with monovision to take an eye test to keep their HGV. The law has changed so many times in the last 5 years. And also vehicle have changed so much in the last 5 years. Lane assisted, crash avoidance, and now the testing of driverless vehicles.

They are screaming out for HGV drivers and if people can past the test eye test, why cant they drive the lorry.

I've been driving HGVs for over 10 years, due to an accident and loss of eye my HGV has been taken away without being given an eye test or capability test/exam. I just want my chance to do things that I know can do. All I’m asking is for my chance to do a test or to prove that I am capable of doing everything that other people can do
