Stop salary and expenses to MLAs of parties who refuse to nominate ministers

For 2nd time, Northern Ireland (NI) has no government due to a refusal of a party to nominate ministers. In 2019, nearly £15 MILLION was spent on salaries while NI had no government. Should any party refuse to nominate ministers, their MLAs should have their pay and expenses completely removed.

While it will be the case that the people in Northern Ireland will differ in opinion, especially when it comes to issues such as language and borders which can impinge on identity, these cannot be dealt with by effectively holding the country to ransom. It doesn't matter if is a language act or a protocol, this cannot be the way to achieve any objective in a democracy.

It remains the case that more people voted for parties or independents who are willing to get on with the job.

People are suffering.
