Allow those with 5 years ICT visa to apply for ILR

The Government should allow those who have been on Intra-company transfer (ICT) visas for five years to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). Currently time on an ICT does not count towards eligibility for ILR.

The ICT route should be a route to settlement, without the need to switch to other routes to obtain settlement. Time spent on the ICT visa should also count towards settlement, ICT migrants complement the UK labour force bringing in expertise and knowledge that can be transferred to UK workers
