Change the qualifying time period for unfair dismissal from 2 years to 1 year

I would like the Employment Rights Act 1996 Section 108 qualifying time period for unfair dismissal changed from 2 years to one year. This is due the increasing frequency of temporary workers. All tax payers should have legal protection whilst at work for the work they have done.
