The Government must act to protect people and the NHS by preventing the eviction of persons recently diagnosed with a critical illness. This places individuals, their families, the NHS and the local council in a very difficult position strategically, financially and certainly with regards to their health and well-being. It also places other individuals in the household at increased risk of mental health problems, financial harm and employment uncertainty. Something MUST be done.
