Allocate part of the £300 million 'Winter Sport Survival Package' to boxing

Boxing is a powerful sport which allows a range of benefits such as employment, and other important aspects of life. Boxing can be associated with passion, emotion, excitement and dedication across the community. When Fans attend boxing shows a range of economic benefits are there too.

From 14th March to 14th November 2020 there have been only professional UK 33 shows (6 of which were the last to have crowds allowed in). For the same period in 2019 there were 182 at all professional levels.

Boxing will slowly die from the bottom up if the sport does not receive the help it desperately needs.

'Small Hall' promoters and their shows are often referred to as 'the breeding ground of champions' and with no income from paying fans or broadcasters they face an even bleaker future.
