To apply further financial assistance to wedding industry. Weddings have been prominate with strict restrictions, and therefore any company who supplies or relies on more than 80% of their turnover to weddings should be able to gain additional support until restrictions on weddings are lifted.

To protect the independent businesses within the UK suppling the wedding industry, The wedding industry has 139,000 small businesses, worth £14.7 billion to the UK economy and employees around 500,000 people. According to reports the industry as a whole is set to loose £5.6billion in 2020. Additional financial support will ensure these businesses will be trading following wedding restrictions lifted.
