Make desecration of the Union Flag (Union Jack) in public a criminal offence. Make it a violation to intentionally destroy, damage, or mutilate the flag in public.

The Union Flag (Union Jack) represents our country. It is part of our heritage and represents every single one of us. It is the most inclusive flag we have and is our national identity.

Many countries round the world like; South Korea, Germany, Italy, France, New Zealand, Switzerland, Portugal - have all made burning their national flags an offence, resulting in imprisonment or fines.

Desecration of our flag is one of the most disrespectful acts anyone could do and should be outlawed.
