Study impact of home working on health & the environment and act on the results

Business as usual on Earth is unsustainable. Let's learn from CV-19. We ask the government to a) commission a study into the impacts of home working on the UK during COVID-19 and b) if the findings support it, incentivise employers to enable home working where possible.

A study would assess whether:

- commuter congestion, stress, collisions, delays & emissions have reduced
- car fuel costs to households have fallen
- worker productivity has increased (from lower stress; working hours that suit the body clock; saved commuting time)
- work life balance & health is better (e.g taking better breaks, more time for self-care)

The study should examine how potential drawbacks (e.g. increased home expenses, & mental health impacts from less human interaction) can be solved.
