Implement mandatory registration for all social care workers in England

I am calling on parliament to implement a register for all social care workers, to be issued with a PIN number to uphold. This is so they can be recognised and overseen as the professionals they are. This is currently in place in Scotland.

In Scotland, all social care workers are registered with the SSSC and are issued a pin number. Just like nurses all over the UK. England does not have any system for social care workers and thus, they are not recognised as professionals. They deserve to be recognised as a professional, which they are and to hold a registration just like those in Scotland.
