Change the policy on discharging covid 19 hospital patients into care homes.

These patients should not be going into care homes until we know they are no longer infectious. The government should consider the use of empty hotels instead, or use of negative testing

The policy needs changing as knowingly allowing people with covid-19 into a care home full of the elderly is life threatening.

Care homes are already overstretched, with limited staffing and resources. The resources needed to protect staff and residents even further would be enormous.
