I would like to propose all drivers who hold a Valid HGV Driving Licence be allowed to drive either without initial CPC entitlement or expired CPC entitlement for a 6 month period.

Due to social distancing many training companies are unable to offer CPC courses. By allowing a 6 month exemption to CPC we can enable new, current or retired HGV Drivers to legally obtain HGV jobs during the Covid-19 crisis. Not only would this be a benefit for the individual but also to the industry.
