Time in the UK under some visas, such as the Tier 2 Intra-company Transfer visa also cannot be used to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. Foreign workers need to know they can access support during this difficult time, and should have the right to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain whatever visa they are on. The Government should allow all visa holders the ability to access public fund, and allow time in the UK under any visa to be used in an application for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
