Work with breweries to provide financial help for Pub landlords during Covid-19

The Pub industry has suffered over the previous 10 years with taxation, the smoking ban and a change in public lifestyle. With the current covid-19 pandemic, the trade is suffering and in need of help as many breweries are still charging landlords for their full lease/rental fees.

The Prime Minister has said that pubs must close to help fight the pandemic. The industry simply cannot survive without some help. The Government should work with Breweries on financial assistance measures for landlords. Without the assistance of the government the entire industry will collapse.
