The government should bring back the £1 note into circulation due to it being far easier too carry and transport polymer notes compared to metal coins.

Citizens can carry many more of the pound denomination in this way. Coins take up too much space within pockets and get lost very easily. With the introduction of polymer notes, the problem of 'short circulation time' is no longer an issue. Personally, my experience with coins has been one of heavy pockets and endless rummaging in bags, bring back the £1 note now!
