The NHS currently hands out free condoms to any person. I understand promoting safe sex, however “period poverty” in my opinion should be held to at least the same priority. I understand the NHS gives free sanitary products to patients however to my knowledge that is were it stops. It is my belief that sex is a luxury and therefore so are condoms. Those struggling with money should not have to struggle to acquire necessary products such as pads or tampons.
