Through Erasmus+ young people can study, volunteer and gain work experience abroad, to develop new skills, gain vital international experience and boost their employability. Currently around 28,000 young people in the UK go abroad through the Erasmus+ programme each year and Erasmus+ students coming to the UK generate £420 million to the UK economy. The programme also allows staff to teach or train abroad and UK organisations to collaborate with international partners.
