Pass law to ensure no unsaleable goods are destroyed but donated to good causes.

There are so many people and animals in need that is an outrageous waste to destroy goods that could be of use to others and we need law to ensure this happens.

Also, by not destroying the planet's precious resources, we would be helping conservation to which the government says it's committed.

I'm sure the big charities would appreciate this law but there are also lots of small local charities that could use the help too.
e.g. homeless, women's refuges, animal rescue centres.

It's unsustainable to expect ordinary shoppers to feed the hungry.

I'm sure even schools would appreciate donations of last season's stationery or unsaleable books.
