I am a landowner and there have been over 80 cases of trespassing and damage to property, by activists, trying to stop the badger cull, on private farmland in my area.

Other than in very limited circumstances, trespass is a civil rather than a criminal offence.
This needs to change to protect the rights of people and their property.
